ASSIGNMENT/ARRIVAL
On 07/23/2026 at approximately 1256 hours, I was dispatched to a vehicle vs. dog collision in
the 2600 block of NE 7th Street in the city of Renton, King County,Washington.
I arrived at approximately 1258 hours.
UNIT 1:TOYOTA RAV4
Upon arrival I observed a white Toyota Rav4 (WA/CVW2773, Unit 1) parked facing east along the
south roadway edge in the 2500 block of NE 7th Street. Unit 1 was not damaged in the collision.
Unit 1 was moved from its point of rest prior to my arrival.
DRIVER 1: LUCAS, PAIGE C.
I contacted Paige C. Lucas (DOB: 06/18/1970) near the intersection of NE 7th Street and
Ferndale Place NE. Lucas was positively identified by her valid Washington Driver License and
established as the driver of Unit 1 by her admission. Lucas was not injured in the collision.
OTHER INVOLVED: MITCHELL AMIE L.
I contacted Arnie L. Mitchell(DOB: 09/18/1971) and her very young daughter near the same
intersection. Arnie and her daughter were not injured in the collision.
STATEMENT: LUCAS, PAIGE C.
I spoke with Lucas about the collision.The following is a summary of our conversation:
Lucas drove Unit 1 east on NE 7th Street toward Ferndale Place NE. Lucas saw Mitchell and her

young daughter standing on the north sidewalk of NE 7th Street. It appeared they were waiting to
cross from north to south in a marked crosswalk.
Lucas was paying attention to Mitchell's young daughter to make sure she didn't run into the
roadway. Lucas didn't see Mitchell's leashed dog, a yellow Terrier mix named "Snowball", walk
into the roadway.
Unit 1's vehicle collided with Snowball in the roadway. Mitchell and her daughter were not
struck.
This concluded my conversation with Lucas.
DISPOSITION
This case is for documentation only.
Mitchell transported Snowball to a local veterinary service with a possible broken front leg.
This concluded my involvement in this case.
