1. INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT BETWEEN WA ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE OF COURTS (AOC)
AND RENTON MUNICIPAL COURT FOR THERAPEUTIC COURTS
Municipal Court recommends execution of an Interagency Agreement
between WA Administrative Office of Courts (AOC) and Renton Municipal
Court, in order to receive $110,426.16 in grant funds to support Case
Manager staffing costs, treatment options, recovery support, and other
resources needed to continue the Community Court program; and
requests authorization to adjust appropriations to account for the grant
funds. Refer to Finance Committee
2. AGREEMENT FOR TEMPORARY SUPPORTIVE HOUSING
Parks and Recreation Department - Human Services Division recommends
execution of an agreement with Investments by M & J, LLC dba AAHAA
Supportive Housing, in an amount not to exceed $200,000 (funded by
Opiod Settlement funds) for the provision of temporary supportive housing
services. Refer to Finance Committee
3. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF RENTON
AND VALLEY DEFENDERS, PLLC FOR INDIGENT DEFENSE SERVICES
Executive Services Department recommends execution of an amendment to the
agreement with Valley Defenders, PLLC , in the amount of$130,000 per
month for cases exceeding the annual contracted allotment, and extends the
agreement for indigent defense services through August 31, 2027. Refer to
Finance Committee
4. AGREEMENT WITH MACKENZIE ENGINEERING, INC. CITY HALL FIRST FLOOR
REMODEL PROJECT
Public Works Department- Facilities Division recommends execution of a
Professional Services Agreement with Mackenzie Engineering, Inc., in the
amount of$283,181 for design, construction management, and other
services required to implement the City Hall First Floor Remodel project.

5. GRANT AGREEMENT: SAM CHASTAIN TRAIL PROJECT LEGISLATIVE
APPROPRIATION
Parks & Recreation Department — Parks & Trails Division recommends
execution of a Grant Agreement with Washington State Department of
Commerce to accept non-matching grant funds totaling $485,000 to
support continuous work related to the Sam Chastain Trail project; and
authorize adjusting appropriations to account for the grant. Refer to
Finance Committee
6. INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH KING COUNTY FOR 2026-27 LOCAL HAZARDOUS
WASTE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM GRANT
Public Works Department—Admin recommends execution of an
interagency agreement with King County for 2026-27 Local Hazardous
Waste Management Program Grant, to accept non-matching grant funds in
the amount of$66,970.19, to establish an Aircraft Preflight Test Fuel
Disposal program; and authorize adjusting appropriations to account for
the grant. Refer to Finance Committee
7. INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT WITH KING CONSERVATION DISTRICT MEMBER
JURISDICTION GRANT
Public Works Department— Utility Systems Division recommends
execution of an interagency agreement with King Conservation District
Member Jurisdiction Grant, to accept non-matching grant funds in the
amount of$250,000 for organics technical assistance and food recovery
outreach. Refer to Finance Committee
