On 07-27-2026 at approximately 2107 hours I was dispatched to 10930 SE 181st St in the City of
Renton, County of King, State of Washington to a hit and run report. The call details indicated the hit
and run occurred 20 ago and the reporting party was requesting phone contact.
I called the reporting party, verbally identified as Matthew A. Otondo-Campos (DOB 11-21-2007), via
phone. He advised at approximately 2050 hours he was walking his dog in front of 18005 110th Ave
SE when a Subaru SUV with WA plate#BDJ4202 was backing up. He said he continued walking and
had the right way. The vehicle kept reversing and Matthew extended his left hand onto the vehicle
before the vehicle backed up further striking him in his left torso area. He said this caused him to
transition his weight to his right foot, which he has been going to physical therapy for, causing pain.
Matthew advised he is not seeking medical attention at this time.
Matthew advised he confronted the driver about being struck. The driver said "fuck you" and
continued driving away north bound towards SE Petrovitsky Rd without attempting to exchange
information. Matthew advised he was upset and just wanted the driver to apologize.
Matthew advised there was no damage to the vehicle.
Matthew described the driver as an elderly white male, 50-60, heavy build, gray hair, pink face,
unshaven, wearing a dark blue collared shirt. I ran the plate Matthew provided through my mobile
data computer which came back to a 2015 Subaru Forester registered to the address off of 110th Ave
SE.
The Subaru Forester was registered to Scott L. Ferry (DOB 06-26-1969). 1 looked at Scott's DOL photo
and he looks to be a white male with red hair and a goatee. It is possible Scott could be the driver,
but a photo montage would have to be performed to confirm if he was the driver or not.
I asked Matthew if there was any camera footage that would've captured the incident and he said
there was a ring camera.
Matthew is uncertain at this time if he wants to pursue criminal charges.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
