Officer Narrative
Narrative
On 07/26/2026, at approximately 1256 hours, I was dispatched to a Traffic complaint at 1111 S
Carr RD in the City of Renton,while I was employed as a uniformed Patrol Officer for the City of
Renton, County of King, State of Washington. A tow trucker wanted police to block one lane so
he could get a vehicle out of the ditch.
As I arrived on scene, I observed a black 2024 Chevy Equinox bearing WA temporary plate
A9220090, registered to WILSON, NIKYLE KARMEA-GONZALEZ(DOB 04/03/2001),whom I later
identified by her WADOL photo.The vehicle was in the ditch and was not visible unless you
Looked down the ditch.The registered owner of the vehicle was at the scene.
I spoke with her about what happened, and she said she did not know but received a call from a
relative, a juvenile, that the vehicle was in a ditch.When asked for the name, she did not provide
it.
I also observed that a pole with an unknown sign had been completely detached from its
placement.The pole is bent, but I am unsure who owns it.
Based on my investigation,the damage observed to the rear of the SUV is consistent with and
matches the shape, height, and point of impact of the pole it struck.
However, no one was able to say who the driver was or witness the accident.Wilson provided
her insurance and advised her to take care of the damage if needed.
