Call to Order of Regular Meeting 2. Approval of Agenda 3. Approval of Previous Minutes a. Approval of May Meeting minutes: Moved by Cynthia, seconded by Amy. 4. Mission Vision Statement Finalize:To stay informed of community needs and assets in order to provide recommendations to the mayor, council and city staff, regarding allocation of funds to programs that meet the needs of Renton residents. 5. Administrator's Report a. Updates:Allocated $25K; Highline Community College will start classes on how to start a business. Classes start in June-July and will be done in December. b. City Council Communication:June 26:Joint,July 10:Affordable Housing. • Homelessness in King County:All home counted differently than they have in previous years which made count for this year lower,which is inaccurate. • Greater Seattle: 3�a • Homelessness Task Force:this group will not be the task force. 6. Old Business: None 7. Discussion/Action Items a. Presentations by Contacted Agencies/Who/When? • Ukrainian Community Center, Sound Generations, Catholic Community Services, DAWN, King County BAR, RAYS,Auburn Youth Resource b. Summer site visits: • Eastside Baby Corner, Emergency Feeding Program, Bridge Disability Ministries Work plan should be in place before committee plans agency presentations. 8. Next Meeting a. July no meeting? • Committee wants to keep July meeting; 1hr of ineeting with agencies and 1hr work plan and no meeting in August 9. Information a.
