Planning Division of the City of Renton. The following briefly describes the application and the necessary Public Approvals.

PERMITS/REVIEW REQUESTED: Administrative Site Plan Review, a SEPA Addendum, and one Modification
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The applicant is requesting Administrative Site Plan Review, a SEPA
Addendum, and one Modification to the street standards to construct a new 6,386 square foot freezer for the storage
of soup and other food products, located at 600 SW 7th Street. The subject property totals 218,300 square feet (5.01)
acres and is located in the Employment Area Comprehensive Plan land use designation and Medium Industrial (IM)
zoning classification. The property is developed with a 66,786 square foot warehouse for the storage of food products.
Vehicle access to the subject property would be maintained on SW 7th Street, utilizing the existing curb cuts. The
applicant has requested a modification to street standards to keep the existing improvements and not increase their
required frontage dedication. The applicant does not propose to remove any existing trees, and would plant new street
trees throughout the landscape strip along SW 7th Street. The City’s mapping system indicates the site is within a High
Seismic Hazard Area. Studies and reports submitted with the master application include a geotechnical report and a
traffic report.

Manager. Anyone who submits written comments will automatically become a party of record and will be notified of any
decision on this project.
