Ecology has approved this Shoreline Variance Permit and filed the associated Substantial Development Permit:
City of Renton file LUA17-000808
ECY permit # 2018-NW-4202
The “date of filing” is today, June 22nd 2018. This date represents the beginning of the 21-day state appeal period (see
the attached letter for additional information).
This letter has been mailed to the applicant via certified mail with a hard copy also provided via regular mail to you. I
have attached an electronic copy for your convenience.
Please also be aware that the pursuant to WAC 173-27-200, the City shall provide timely notification of this decision to
all interested parties, having previously commented on the permit or otherwise requested notification of the decision.

Ecology is working on the final decision for the Shoreline Variance and will file the associated Shoreline Substantial
Development permit simultaneously. I expect the decision to be issued this week.

I received the certified mail receipt for the I-405, Renton to Bellevue project a few weeks ago, but I haven’t heard
anything else. Can you please give me a status update for the project? Any additional information, like the permit
number or the date of filing, would be appreciated, too.
