In lieu of inspection Uy the City,the Owne��s may elect to engage a IicBnsed civil engiiieer registered in the state of Washington who has axpertise in drainage to inspeet ihe draii�age facilities and provide a written repoz�t describing their condifion. If the engineer option is ohosett,the Ownars sha11 provicle written iiotice to the City of Renton within fifteeu days o£x•eceiving the City's notice o£inspection, Within 30 days of giving this notice,thc Owners,or engineer on behalf of the Owu.ers,shali�rovide the engi�ieer's z•e��ort to the City of Renton. If the report is not provided in a tnnely mauiier as specificd aUove,the Cify of Reiiton may inspect the drainage facilities without further notice. 3. If City of Renton detex•mines fi•om its ii�spection,or fi�oni an enginaer's z�epoz•t provided in acco�dance witl�paragcapli 2,that inaintenance,repair,rastoration,and/or mitigation worlc is required to be done to any of the drainage facilities,City of Renton shall notify the Owners o�the specific maintenance,�•epair,restoration,and/or raitigation worlc(Worlc)required pursuaut to the Renton Municipal Code. The City sha11 also set a reasonable deadline fo��the OwMers to complete the Worlc,or to provida au engiueer's report that veriftes completzan ofthe Worlc. After the deadline has passed,the Owners shall allow tlie City access to re-inspect the drainage facilities unless an engiueer's report has been provided verifying completiou of the Worlc, If the Worlc is not completed within the time fi•anie set by tkie City,the City tnay iuitittte an enforcemeizt action and/or perForm fhe reqtiired mainfenatzce,repair, resCoratioi�,and/or xz�itigation worlc and hereby is given access to the Proparty for such piuposes, Written notice will l�e sent to the Owizers statiug the City's intention to pexform such vsvork.
