SUBJ: Change Order Request — Relocate Telemetry Pole, Panel and Power
Dear Michael / Edwin / Alex,
Our Electrical Subcontractor Advanced Power was onsite with our Project Foreman Kye Van Hoof earlier
this week to review the electrical scope and coordination of work. Drawing COI (Sheet 3 of 34) directs us
to remove telemetry panel and the electrical panel. Drawing CO2 (Sheet 4 or 34) directs us to "Do Not
Disturb Existing Appurtenances and Investigate Function as Necessary to Avoid Disturbance." Per our
attached pictures and investigation, we have determined that modifications to the existing Lift Station and
installation of the connecting 8-inch PVC Sewer Pipe cannot be completed without relocating the
telemetry pole and panel. Back-up documentation from Advanced Power, attached.

In the best interest of the project and to keep the existing Lift Station fully operational, Road Construction
Northwest, Inc. (RCNW) request the City of Renton issue a change order for Advanced Power to relocate
the telemetry pole and panel. This contract has a provision Bid Item #11 Force Account — Unanticipated
Conflicts. For your convenience, allowable contractor mark-up for Force Account has been added per
Section 1-09.6 of the 2018 WSDOT Standard Specifications. Total cost to the City of Renton for
completing this ADDED Scope of Work is $2,543.10, excluding sales tax.
Please issue us a Work Authorization and Change Order so that we can schedule & coordinate this work.

DO NOT BLOCK SWING GATE. PRIVATE ACCESS TO SOUTHERN
PROPERTY THROUGH GATE SHALL BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES.
DO NOT BLOCK GATE. WHILE LIFT STATION IS IN OPERATION, CITY
MUST HAVE FULL ACCESS TO EXISTING LIFT STATION AT ALL TIMES.
DO NOT BLOCK ACCESS TO HOUSE AND DRIVEWAY FROM SE 8TH PL.
PROVIDE TEMPORARY FENCE ON EAST SIDE OF EXISTING PUMP
STATION WHEN EXISTING FENCE HAS BEEN REMOVED BUT EXISTING
FACILITY IS STILL OPERATIONAL.
CONTRACTOR MAY NEGOTIATE WITH THE HOME OWNER'S
ASSOCIATION (HOA) TO USE THE EXISTING RV PARKING AREA FOR
TEMPORARY STAGING OR STORAGE. IF THE CONTRACTOR USES THE
AREA, IT NEEDS TO BE RESTORED TO EXISTING OR BETTER
CONDITION,
PROTECT EXISTING MONUMENT DURING PAVING. IF THE MONUMENT
IS DISTURBED OR DAMAGED, RESTORE THE MONUMENT AS
OUTLINED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS.
