AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REiQTON , WASIiINGTON
ANNEXIi•1G CERTAIIJ TERRIIORY TO THE CITY OF RENTOII

� WHEREAS under the provisions of RCW 35A. 14 . 300 , the legislati �
� body , by majorit:y vote , elected to annex certain territory outside

� its City Limit.s as hereinbelow more particularly described , for
�
�
� municipal purooses ; and
WHEREAS the City Council f_ixed Monday , July 26 , 1982 , as a
time and place for. a public hearing in the City Council Chambers ,
City �iall , Renton , Washington, and
WHEREAS , pursuant to said Notice , a public ilearing has been
held at the time and place specified in the aforesaid notice and the
Council tiaving, duly considered all matters and further determined
that all legal requirements and procedures of the law applicable
'nave been duly con�plied with, and
WHEREAS a proper "Notice of Intention" having; been filed witiz
the King County Boundary Review Board as required� by law, and saic�
Boundary Review Board having duly waived its jurisdiction thereover ,
as per its letter dated October 7 , 1982 ;
NOW THF.REFORE , TI�E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RFNTON ,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVF AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION_,I : The aforesaid findings , recitals and determina�ic���
are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects ; all requirc-
ments of the law in reg,ard to the annexation as per P.CW 35A. 14 . 300
have been fully complied with .
It is furtner determined that the below described property
is being annexed into the City of Renton for municipal �urposes and
such annexation to be eff.ective on and after the approval , passage
and publication of this Ordinance ; and on and after said date said

� Avenue and Renton Avenue Extension (approximately
� 12 , 000 square feet)
SECTIOTI II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage , approval and five days after its publication .
A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be filed with the
King County Council , State of Washington , and as otherwise provided
by law.
SECTION III : The above described annexed property contiguot:
to Precinct P�o . 5 of the City of Renton shall be and constitute
a part of Precinct No . 5 of said City .

All that portion of Tract 14, Block 30, Earlington Acre Tracts, according to the
Plat r ecorded in Vol. 15 of Plats, page 84, in King County, Washington.
Lying Southerly of the South right of way margin of Renton Avenue Extension and
Northerly of the North ri�ht of way margin of S.W. Victoria Street.
Together with that portion of S.W. Victoria Street right of way lying Southerly
of said described portion of Tract 14, and lying Westerly of Renton City Limits
as established under Ordinance Number 2022.
