SUBJECT: Addendum #2, Sign Shop Addition
ADDENDUM #2
The following clarifications modify the existing contract documents for the Renton Sign
Shop Addition project.
1. The hose reels are included in the base bid. (It was clarified in Addendum #1 that the
compressor is included in the base bid.)
2. The drawings say the guardrail posts are 6 x 6 steel tubes, but the specs say 8 x 8
timber. The posts are to be 8 x 8 timber with 8x blocking to match.
3. New conduit from the generator connection to the new MTS should follow the same
routing as the existing and be hidden from view.
4. In specification section 00 42 10 Bid Submittal Check List, (articles#2 and #3), the
terms "bid bond" and "bid guarantee" refer to the same document,
5. In specification section 00 42 10 Bid Submittal Check List, (article#7), replace the
word "certified" with "acknowledged". You simply need to list the numbers of the
addendums received in the provided spaces on the Bid Form.
6. In specification section 00 42 10 Bid Submittal Check List, (article#9), "properly
endorsed envelope" means sealed and labeled with the firm's name.
