A public hearing will be held by the Renton Hearing Examiner in the Council Chambers on the seventh floor of the Renton City Hall, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, Washington, on January
15, 2019 at 11:00 am to consider the following petitions:
Eastside Interceptor Section 2 Rehabilitation Noise Variance

Location: Within the Logan Ave N ROW from Lake Washington Blvd N to Burnett Ave N. The applicant, King County, is requesting a noise variance in order to exceed the nighttime (10pm to
7am) noise limits in RMC 8 7 on parcel #0886600060. The noise, created by an electric bypass pump and odor control unit, would exceed the 47 dBA maximum noise limit for nighttime work
in the Class A Environmental Designations for Noise Abatement (EDNA) noise zone. The purpose of the project is to rehabilitate the Eastside Interceptor Section 2, a large sewage flow
pipe running under Logan Ave N. According to the applicant, construction on the pipe would last approximately eight (8) months.
