ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW COMMITTEE AND PUBLIC HEARING
RENTON, WASHINGTON
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY
AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Environmental Review Committee has issued a Determination of Non Significance Mitigated (DNS M) for the following project under the authority of the Renton municipal code.
Maple Highlands

Location: 16210 SE 134th St. The applicant is requesting Preliminary Plat and SEPA approval to subdivide a 4.18 acre parcel into 13 single family residential lots, one storm drainage
tract and one tree retention tract. The site is zoned R 4 zone. The proposed residential lots would range in size from 9,000 sf to 12,425 sf with a density of 3.78 du/ac. All existing
structures on site would be demolished. Access would be via a new residential access street through the center of the property and half street frontage improvements on 162nd Ave SE
and 164th Ave SE along the property frontages. No critical areas are mapped on the project site.
Appeals of the DNS M must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 p.m. on January 25, 2019. Appeals must be filed in writing together with the required fee with: Hearing Examiner c/o
City Clerk, City of Renton, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057. Appeals to the Hearing Examiner are governed by RMC 4 8 110 and more information may be obtained from the Renton
City Clerk's Office, 425 430 6510.
A Public Hearing is tentatively scheduled for February 12, 2019 at 12:00 pm, to be held by the Hearing Examiner in the Council Chambers, City Hall, to consider the submitted application.
If the DNS M is appealed, the appeal will be heard as part of this public hearing. Interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing.
