1. SLOTTED DRAIN ASSEMBLY SHALL BE HANCOR DURASLOT, OR
APPROVED EQUAL. SLOTTED DRAIN AND TRENCH SHALL MEET AIRPORT
LOAD RATING REQUIREMENTS. MANUFACTURER SHALL PROVIDE
STAMPED SUBMITTAL DRAWINGS PRIOR TO MATERIAL ACCEPTANCE.
INSTALLATION SHALL BE PER MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS.
2. HIGH SLUMP CONCRETE SHALL HAVE MINIMUM 1000 PSI 28-DAY
COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH.
3. CONCRETE PAVEMENT ABOVE SLOTTED DRAIN TRENCH SHALL MATCH
PAVEMENT REQUIREMENTS SHOWN ON THE PAVING PLANS. IF
REINFORCEMENT IS SHOWN ON THE PAVEMENT PLANS, IT SHALL BE
CONTINUED ACROSS SLOTTED DRAIN TRENCH.
4. SLOTTED DRAIN PIPE SHALL BE HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE OR
ALUMINIZED STEEL TYPE 2. PIPE WALL THICKNESS AND GAUGE SHALL
BE AS REQUIRED TO MEET AIRPORT LOADING REQUIREMENTS. PIPE
MATERIAL SHALL HAVE A MAXIMUM MANNING COEFFICIENT OF 0.024.
FINAL CONFIGURATION OF SLOTTED DRAIN ASSEMBLY AND TRENCH
SHALL MEET THE DIMENSIONS SHOWN BASED ON SELECTED PIPE
MATERIAL AND SLOT DIMENSIONS.
5. ALL METAL PARTS USED IN SLOT DRAIN ASSEMBLY INCLUDING PIPE,
SLOT, COUPLING BANDS, AND FITTINGS SHALL BE NON GALVANIZED
ALUMINIUM, STAINLESS STEEL, ALUMINIZED STEEL, OR PLASTIC.
