BLUE tape for the next structure – North (2) bands BLUE and East (1) band BLUE - from the current location. * When preparing slack for a new splice closure, mark the center with colored tape to show direction. * If there is traffic control required at the splice location, prep the splice tails for splicing . * If excess cable is pulled off the reel, NEVER cut the excess off. * Always distribute the excess along the project path as follows; Under 60ft –store at the nearest slack storage. Over 60ft –call the PM to determine how to distribute. CONSTRUCTION STANDARDSC-1 General Requirements and Information * Work is expected to begin no less than 7 days upon issuance of work order and approved permits to Contractor unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by WDH project manager. * Contractor shall ensure they have and maintain valid Business Licenses as needed to perform the work. * Contractor shall provide within 3 days of issuance a written schedule for anticipated completion time frames . * Contractor shall place multiple crews on the project as needed to ensure completion of the project within the agreed upon project schedule . * Contractor shall ensure any and all subs they may elect to use, meet all WDH requirements as listed in this RFP or as agreed upon between WDH and Contractor. * Contractor also agrees to be solely responsible for any and all activities performed by the sub and accepts all liabilities implicit and/or implied for those activities performed by the sub . Materials * Fiber shall be provided by Wave Division Holdings * All other material shall be furnished by contractor, unless otherwise agreed upon with project manager. Closeout Package * Complete and submit Wave Division Holdings documentation forms. * Submit as-built prints within 1-week of job completion, prior to submitting an invoice. * Invoice needs to include mule tape footage for start and end of conduit, if fiber is not placed . * As -Built documentation needs to include fiber sequential at all locations (i.e. vaults in/out, riser , pole, loops in/out, tails, etc.). * Invoice needs to include fiber reel number and pre-construction sequential (Inside/Outside) and Post-Construction sequential (Inside/Outside). * Send all Invoices to Accounting@blackrockcable.com, with the job name in the subject line * New Underground As-built documentation will consist of an aerial overview detailing new facilities pathway , including structures (i.e.. vaults , risers, etc.) and where applicable , accompanied by a bore profile. * Bore depth profile: 1.) Shall include: - Detailed description of 0.00 start station. including GPS coordinates (can be obtained from Google Earth in Degrees /Decimal format ) 2.) Bore direction in Degree's-magnetic (can be obtained from Google Earth measuring tool ) 3.) Bore vertical profile data at 20ft intervals with occasional detailed description of interval station , listed as x+xx ft. and xx in deep 4.) Lateral alignment in relation to the road curb or centerline listed as 0.00ft E-W-N or S of Curb, Fog line or Centerline . * WDH reserves the right to request additional close out information on a per project basis. These specific requests will be agreed upon prior to work commencement . Footages for invoicing purposes . *Inside footage – This is the inner footage typically exiting center of reel – remains the same until all fiber is removed. * Outside footage - This is the outside footage at the reel , as it comes off the reel after the job is complete. * End footage - This is the end of the fiber at the far end of the job , after the job is complete.
