Dear Mr. Vuong:
Your deferral requests have been received by the City of Renton, and determination is as follows:
Approved items – Deferred until January 9, 2018
Installation of final lift on the internal private access has been approved with the following condition:
Utility castings must be adjusted per City of Renton Standard (RMC 400.4).
Landscaping on public planter strip on NE 7th Street frontage and landscaping on private planter strip internal to the short plat site with the following condition:
No single family residential building permit shall be finaled until after landscaping along the public street or on the retaining wall is installed.
Denied items
Installation of private road name sign and no parking signs
The signs should be installed prior to final short plat recoding.
As a requirement of this deferral a security deposit in the amount of $15,622.50 which represents 150% of the estimated cost of installation of these items, must be received by the City
prior to recording of the ZK final short plat.
According to City code, you have 15 days from today’s date to appeal the administrative determination. Appeals are to be filed in writing, with the City Clerk and require a filing fee
in the amount of $250.00. Additional information regarding the appeal process may be obtained from the Renton City Clerk’s office by calling (425) 430-6510.
Any security that, according to its terms, lapses upon a date certain, will cause the deferral to lapse on that same date unless additional adequate substitute security has been posted
prior to the termination date of the prior security. Each security document posted with the City must be approved by the City Attorney, whose decision as to the acceptability of the
security shall be conclusive.
The City reserves the right, in addition to all other remedies available to it by law, to proceed against such security or other payment in lieu thereof. In case of any suit or action
to enforce any provisions of this code, the developer shall pay the City all costs incidental to such litigation including reasonable attorney’s fees. The applicant shall enter into
an agreement with the City requiring payment of such attorney’s fees.
