Unfortunately, the testing was not completed in accordance with the Manual as was requested in the 2/12/16 letter sent to Summit Homes. The infiltration test for the Canyon Terrace infiltration facility must be done in accordance the 2009 KCSWDM section 5.4, which requires field testing to get actual measured infiltration tests. The testing procedure is outlined in Section 5.4.1 of the Manual. Field testing and design infiltration rate calculations, using the measured infiltration rate, should be completed and shall demonstrate that the design infiltration rate is equal to, or greater than, the design infiltration rate used in the design of the of the facility as provided in the approved project TIR.
