Conditions for Permit SS19000128
Engineering
1 The 3-inch flexible PVC pipe is to be installed in the City storm system shown below between CB ID# 130591
(upstream CB) and CB ID#130655 (downstream CB) in the 36-inch storm pipe that crosses East Valley Road
Pipe ID# 128197.
2 The lids for the catch basins and manholes are to remain secured at all times. A hole is to be drilled into the lids
for the pipe and the lids shall be replaced when the discharge has concluded.
3 The contractor will need to monitor the system whenever it is in operation to insure that there is no wastewater
being discharged into the storm system.
4 A safety fence shall be installed around each catch basin and manhole utilized for the discharge.
5 The 3-inch flexible PVC pipe must be a continuous section of pipe with no connection or joints 5-ft (or more) from
the rims of the catch basins. The pipe must be air tight with no leaks for any portion of the pipe inside of the
catch basins or storm pipe to prevent any discharge of wastewater from the site being discharged into the storm
system, which would result in an illicit discharge violation.
6 The applicant is responsible for verifying that this proposal is acceptable to any other state or other agency that
has any regulatory requirements associated with the site construction (Ecology Construction General Stormwater
Permit).
7 The City inspector must be present when the system is installed to insure that there are no connections or joints
for the section of pipe to be install within the City’s storm system for the discharge of wastewater to the City
sanitary sewer system from the site.
