2.Getmedicalattentionandemergencytransportationfortheinjuredpersonimmediately3.Notifyon-siteProjectManager,ProjectSuperintendentand/foremanpromptlySiteSpecificWorkplan:Asite-specificworkplanprovidesadministrativecontrolsthatmustbeinplacetopreventworkerexposuretohazardsthataworkermayencounter.Thehazardsandcontrolsdiscussedmaynotencompassalltheactivitiesbutisdesignedtoalertsupervision,workersofHHJ,sub-contractors,sub-contractoremployeesandanyvisitortopossibleprojecthazardsonthisproject.Thisplanalsodiscussesthepossibleactionstotakewhenonthisproject.AreviewofthesitesJobHazardAnalysisshallbefoundinthejob-trailer/officeandmustbereviewedandunderstoodbeforeyouperformanytaskontheproject.Therewillbeexcavation,drillingandremovalbyheavyequipmenttakingplaceonthisproject.AnyexcavationmustbelocatedbycallingtheUtilityNotificationCenterand/orthelocalutilitytolocateanyundergroundutilities.Power,water,sewer,telecommunicationsorgaslinescouldbepresentandmustbelocatedpriortoanyexcavation.Hazardssuchasfire,Vexplosion,electrocution,disruptionofserviceordischargeofwastecouldbetheconsequenceofnotproperlynotifyingtheUtilityNotificationCenter.Locatedutilitieswillhaveitsdesignated.coloringandmarkingmustbemaintained.IIunsure,re-callforlocates.Allexcavationsmustbeinspectedbyacompetentpersonregardlessofdepth,whoisfamiliarwiththeexcavationstandard,soilclassificationsandprotectivemeasuresthatmustbetakensuchasshoring,shielding,slopingbenchingorengineering.Neveraccessanunprotectedexcavation.Overheadhazardstopowerlinesandtelecommunicationmayexist.Knowwhattheoverheadlinesvoltagesare.Don’tguess,calltheutilitytoknowthevoltagesandtoverifythatlinesareeitherde-energizedorprovidewarninglinesiflinescannotbede-energized.TherewillbeareaswhichwillofflimitstounauthorizedpersonalespeciallyifthespecificareacontainshazardousmaterialatoraboveabovetheMTCAlevels.Theseareasshallbedelineatedbyacombinationofchainlinksecurityfencing,plasticsecurityfencingand/orhi-visdelineatortrafficdeviceswiththeappropriatevisibilityropeandortape.Theseareaswillbeclearlydefinedandcommunicated,andonlyauthorizedemployeesareallowedtoentertheseareas.Iftheboundaries,signagebecomeinneedofrepair,contacttheprojectmanager,projectsuperintendentorforemantotakecorrectiveactionimmediately.Duringthemovementofequipment,itisimportanttogettheattentionoftheoperator.Assumetheoperatoroftheequipmentorvehiclescannotseeyou.BeawareofyoursurroundingsatalltimesandweartherequiredPersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPE)A)!personnelon-sitemusthavetheminimalPersonalProtectiveEquipment(PPE)•Hi-VisibilitygarmentsthatareANSIClass2U;...—iL--.
