The mayor's annual State of the City address is January 30 at 8:00 a.m. at Renton
Pavilion Event Center. Tickets are $25 each or $200 for a table of 8 and can be
purchased by calling 425-430-6616.
• Gene Coulon Memorial Beach Park is currently undergoing repairs that will close the
south deck and day moorage until early spring. Ivar's restaurant will also close
during this time for a remodel. Signage will be provided around the construction site
regarding closure and redirection for pedestrian access. More information is
available at rentonwa.gov/coulon.
The public is invited to review and comment on proposed updates to the Airport
Master Plan, including the Airside Alternatives, during an open house scheduled for
Tuesday, January 15 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Renton Community Center,
located at 1715 Maple Valley Hwy in Renton. The Airport Airside Alternatives may be
viewed on our website at rentonwa.gov/airport.
• Information about preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and

Preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures will be at
the following locations:
✓ Monday, January 14 through Friday, January 18, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Single
lane closures on the north and southbound lanes of 108th Avenue SE (SR 515) at
SE Petrovitsky Road due to utility construction. Questions may be directed to

✓ Monday, January 14 through Friday, January 18, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Intermittent single lane closures within the neighborhood bordered by 116th
Avenue SE, 125th Avenue SE, SE 164th Street, and SE 168th Street due to water
main replacement work performed by Soos Creek Water and Sewer District.

Intermittent lane closures on Lake Washington Blvd between North 39th Street
and North 40th Street due to roadway construction. Questions may be directed

Possible lane closure of the outer westbound lane of Puget Drive SE east of
Benson Road South due to utility construction. Questions may be directed to

✓ Monday, January 14 through Friday, January 18, 4:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Single
lane closure along southbound Talbot Road South between the northbound I-
405 on -ramp and the southbound 1-405 off -ramp for the 1-405 Direct Connector

Intermittent lane closures at South 132nd Street for storm water utility work.

closures between South 4th Street and South 7th Street due to work on the
Renton Hill Utility Replacement Project. Questions may be directed to Todd

✓ Monday, January 14 through Friday, January 18, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Expect
intermittent lane closures and traffic delays along Talbot Road South (SR 515)
related to the 1-405/SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project.
In addition, northbound and southbound nighttime lane restrictions and closures
along SR 167 and 1-405 are also scheduled this week related to the project.

✓ Monday, January 14 through October 2019. The Renton Hill Utility
Replacement Project is underway with anticipated completion in May 2019.
Following completion of the utility project, an overlay of the affected surface
streets will be conducted as part of the 2019 overlay project. The overlay is
scheduled to be completed prior to October 31, 2019.
✓ Monday, January 14 through January 2019. Road closure on South 14th Street
between Smithers Avenue South and Davis Avenue South for utility construction.
