CTI continued to load up the sections of the conveyor belt onto trucks to transport off the site. Terra Dynamics placed the coconut unwoven matting along the 1.5:1 and 2:1 slopes from stations 10+00 to 15+95 and elevations 208 to 236. There was approximately 1,700 square yards of matting layed using 9 rolls. Personal present at the Defoor site: 1.Dan Lonsdale-General foreman with CDB 2. John Hartly-Foreman with Terra Dynamics 3. There was a total of 1,417.2 tons of 1 1/4 CSBC placed today. Performed soil density testing at above locations per T310 and SOP 615 (Method 1) using a Troxler nuclear density gauge model 3440. The moisture density relationship values of 121.5 with a 10.8% optimum moisture was used per Mayes Testing lab number T-09082-10, and 141.1 with a 4.0% optimum moisture was used per Mayes Testing lab number T-09082-3. The tests met the 95% required compaction. The contractor was informed of test results. See attached Field Density Reports and Density Work Sheets for results and locations. Performed observation for the hydroseeding of the 1.5:1 slope along the east side of the Talbot on ramp by Terra Dynamics. A total of a hundred 50 pound bags of Ecofibre mulch, seven 50 pound bags of seed, and twenty five 50 pound bags of fertilizer were used today. Performed observation throughout the day for the cut of existing subgrade for Pier #2 footing.
