Inspector's Notes
Attended the CDB morning activity meeting.
Activities today at the Defoor site:
Performed observation for the placement of unsuitable materials being used for topsoil along the 2:1 slope from
stations 10+00 to10+50. This material was being transported from the on site stockpile located between stations
12+00 to13+00 next to Cedar road. There was a total of 500 cubic yards of this material placed today transported
from 20 truck loads.
Performed observation for the cut of compacted fill material for the ditchline running next to the access road from
stations 10+00 to 11+00, and the installation then of Geotextile unwoven filter fabric and quarry spalls along the
same locations. There was a total of 330 cubic yards of quarry spalls placed today transported by 15 truck loads
and 1 1/4 rolls of the Geotextile fabric.
Visited by Mazi Hadi the inspector with WSDOT and Ken Viren the MaterialsTechnician with WSDOT throughout
the day.
Visited by Robert Patcheck with CDB, Allan Brown with CDB,Ryan Andrews with CDB and Andy Anderson with
CDB to see the progress of the project.
