INSPECTION FREQUENCY AND MAlNTENANCE GUIDELINES + Perr►eable pavements xnust be inspected after oze major storm eacyear to make sure iE is working properly. More frequent inspection is recornmended. • Pralonged ponding or standing water on the pavement srface is a sign that tfe system is defective and may need to be replaced. If this occurs, contac#the paement in,staller or the City oRenton for further instriictions. • A typical permeable pavement system has a life expectancy of approximately 25 years. To help . extend die useful life of the system, the surface of the permeable pavetnent should be kept clean, stable and free of leaves, debris, and sediment through regular sweeping or vacuum sweeping.Aggregate fill in modular grid pavement xnay need periodic surfacereplenishment. • The owner is responsible for the repair of all ruts, deformation, and/or braken paving grids or pavers. + Modular grid pavement and permeable pavers filled with gravel or with gravel in the joints may need to be reflled periodically.
