Did you do some spring cleaning? Schedule one pickup of extra garbage for free. The
Clean Sweep Program is available to City of Renton single‐family residential
customers. Each household may schedule one collection of extra garbage to take
place on its regular garbage day between now and December 28, 2019, at no
additional charge. For questions or to schedule your Clean Sweep collection, contact
Republic Services at 206‐777‐6440. For a list of donation or recycling facilities, or to
obtain more information on what is accepted and what is not, please visit our
website at www.rentonwa.gov/cleansweep.
Come meet Renton police officers at Coffee with a Cop. The mission is to break
down barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve by removing
agendas and allowing opportunities to ask questions, voice concerns, and get to
know the officers in your neighborhood. The next Coffee with a Cop will take place
on Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Starbucks, 68 Rainier Avenue South
in Renton.

Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14. Road closure on South 14th Street
between Smithers Avenue South and Davis Avenue South for utility construction.

Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Intermittent
northbound curb lane closures on Renton Avenue South between Taylor Avenue
South and South 130th Street for utility and roadway construction. Questions

Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Intermittent
southbound curb lane closures on Renton Avenue South between South 130th
Street and South 132nd Street for utility and roadway construction. Questions
may be directed to Justin Johnson at 425‐902‐7102.
Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Single lane
closure on Talbot Road South in the vicinity of Valley Medical Hospital related to
the construction of the new Medical Office Building. Questions may be directed
to Tom Main at 206‐999‐1833.
Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Expect
intermittent lane closures along Oakesdale Avenue SW between SW Grady Way
and the Black River Bridge to allow crews to conduct manhole repairs.
Tuesday, June 11 through Thursday, June 13, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The
eastbound curb lane of SE Carr Road will be closed between Talbot Road South
and 105th Place SE to allow crews to conduct road repairs.
Monday, June 10 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Intermittent single and
double lane closures along Logan Avenue North between North 6th Street and
near Garden Avenue North in support of the King County Eastside Sewer
Interceptor Rehabilitation project. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco at

Monday, June 10 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Full road closure on
Burnett Avenue North at North 6th Street in support of the King County Eastside
Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation project. Both the City of Renton and King
County’s Wastewater Division have reached out to property owners along the
approved detour route and to affected parties providing advanced notification of
the proposed road closure and detour route. In addition, notification was
provided in the Renton Reporter and signage will be provided in the field prior to
roadway closure. Resolution 4378 has been approved by City Council for the
roadway closure of Burnett Avenue North. Questions may be directed to Brad
