Street sweepers are dispatched daily to clean up debris along major arterials. Please remember during snow and ice events, the department sanders and snow plows are dispatched to keep major arterials drivable. Visit our website at http://rentonwa.gov/living/default.aspx?id=21258 to view our snow route maps. Please do not park or abandon your vehicle within any portion of the traffic lanes. Abandoned vehicles impair snow and ice removal and impact response of emergency vehicles. • Information about preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures happening this week can be found at http://rentonwa.gov/trafficimpacts. Preventative street maintenance, traffic impact projects, and road closures will be at the following locations: ✓ Monday, February 6th through Friday, February 10th, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Potential intermittent lane closures along South Renton Village Place due to roadway paving. Questions may be directed to Patrick DeCaro at 425-207-6013. ✓ Monday, February 6th through Friday, February 10th, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Intermittent lane closures at Lake Washington Boulevard just north of Houser Way North/Gene Coulon Park due to utility installation and possible road restoration. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco at 425-282-2373. ✓ Monday, February 6th through Friday, February 10th, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Intermittent lane closures with alternating traffic due to the installation of sidewalk for the 116th Avenue SE Sidewalk project. Questions can be directed to Flora Lee at 425- 430-7303 or Todd Freih at 206-999-1832. ✓ Monday, February 6th through Sunday, February 12th. Road closure will take place on South 14th Street between Shattuck Avenue South through Smithers Avenue South for WSDOT Talbot Hill project. Open to local access only. The two west lanes on Main Avenue between 2nd and 3rd will be closed for project improvements while the east lanes will be open for traffic flow. Additionally, potential lane closures will take place along 2nd near Main Avenue for utility installation. The on -site inspector is Pat Miller, 206-794-6162. ✓ Monday, February 6th through approximately Friday, February 10th. Expect intermittent lane closures along Oakesdale Avenue SW at the BNSF tracks while maintenance crews perform repair work near the tracks. Southbound lanes will be closed Monday and Tuesday at 3801 Oakesdale Avenue SW and northbound lanes will be closed Wednesday and Thursday at the same location. Questions may be directed to John Kalmbach at 425-766-6183. ✓ Monday, February 6th through approximately Friday, February 10th, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. SW 7th Street will be reduced to one lane to accommodate construction of a surface water utility project. Flaggers will be onsite managing traffic flow. One lane in each direction along SW 7th Street will be open during non -construction hours between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Detour routes available are Lind Avenue SW, SW 10th Street, SW Grady Way, Powell Avenue SW, and Oakesdale Avenue SW. Expect northbound I- 405 on ramp restrictions and closures at NE 30th Street and NE 44th Street while the WSDOT contractor reconfigures these on ramps to improve safety and traffic flow that will minimize backup on Renton neighborhood streets. More detailed information about these on ramp restrictions and closures is available tonight on the back table. The information includes a list of dates and times for the on ramp closures and/or lane reductions. ✓ Monday, February 6th through approximately Friday, July 28th. Complete road closure of Harrington Avenue NE, Sunset Lane NE, and Glenwood Avenue NE will take place for approximately one year to accommodate the Sunset Lane NE Roadway Improvements Project.
