Celebrate the Fourth of July with fireworks and festivities at Gene Coulon Memorial
Beach Park. The schedule of events includes something for everyone, including a
volleyball tournament, a kids activity zone, and live music and dance performances.
The official welcome is at 7:00 p.m. and the fireworks display will start at 10:00 p.m.

Join us Saturday, July 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Piazza Park for the third annual Cruz the
Loop celebration. Register your car to cruise prior to July 6 for $30, or $40 the day
of. The next day, Sunday, July 7, join us for th e Return to Renton Benefit Car Show
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Piazza Park. This weekend, come check out classic cars,

Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 5. Road closure on South 14th Street
between Smithers Avenue South and Davis Avenue South for utility construction.

Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Intermittent
northbound curb lane closures on Renton Avenue South between Taylor Avenue
South and South 130th Street for utility and roadway construction. Questions

Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 5, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Intermittent lane
closures on South 132nd Street for utility work. Questions may be directed to

Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 5, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Single lane closure
on Talbot Road South in the vicinity of Valley Medical Hospital related to the
construction of the new Medical Office Building. Questions may be directed to

Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Single lane
closure on East Valley Road between SW 19th Street and Taylor Avenue SW for
the I-405 Direct Connector Project. One lane of East Valley Road will remain
open with flaggers directing traffic through the worksite. Questions may be

Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 5, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Single lane closure
in the westbound lane of Puget Drive SE at the 1500 bloc k due to utility
construction. Questions may be directed to Tom Main at 206-999-1833.
Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, July 3, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Intermittent
lane closures at the intersection of NE 12th Street and Sunset Blvd NE for
potholing. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco at 425-282-2373.
Wednesday, July 3, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The northbound curb lane of Talbot
Road South at South 177th Street will be closed for asphalt repairs. Please note
this is near the north entrance to Valley Medical Center (VMC). Flaggers will be
onsite to provide traffic control and ensure access to VMC is maintained.
Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Intermittent single and
double lane closures along Logan Avenue North between North 6th Street and
near Garden Avenue North in support of the King County Eastside Sewer
Interceptor Rehabilitation project. Questions may be directed to Brad Stocco at

Monday, July 1 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020. Full road closure on
Burnett Avenue North at North 6th Street in support of the King County Eastside
Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation project. Both the City of Renton and King
County’s Wastewater Division have reached out to property owners along the
approved detour route and to affected parties providing advanced notification of
the proposed road closure and detour route. In addition, notification was
provided in the Renton Reporter and signage will be provided in the f ield prior to
roadway closure. Resolution 4378 has been approved by City Council for the
roadway closure of Burnett Avenue North. Questions may be directed to Brad
