HMAC’s hours of operation and programming have been updated to offer an increased variety of experiences, allow for new inclusive programming, and adapt to market changes without increasing fees. The changes made have been based on both patron and employee feedback with the intent to be fiscally responsible and customer oriented. We will be collecting feedback throughout the season and at the end of the summer from patrons experience and the impact of changes. 2018 Schedule 11am-2pm, 3pm-6pm, Friday night Lights 6:30pm-8:30pm Highlight of changes and their impact: o Allows a full 30 minute lunch for HMAC aquatic staff. o Allows entry prices to remain the same for the next two years, during which time we review operations and address the rise in minimum wage over the next 4 years. o Provides an earlier first session allowing more day camp groups to use the facility. o Provides a new opportunity for ‘twilight swim’ for patrons not able to use the daytime swim sessions. o Schedule reduces the sessions by 30 minutes, which allows safer session ‘turnover’ time for staff. o Adjusted the swim lesson time blocks to address cancellations and provide for demand times. o Due to safety training requirements for all aquatics staff, the Friday session of ‘water walking’ will be discontinued. Water walking is available Monday – Thursday, and Saturday and Sunday mornings. o In addition to the schedule revisions, four new events will be offered in the season.
