BACKGROUND•Strategy 8.3 –“Create a greenway/promenade between the Cedar River and N 1stStreet”•Residents of this area concerned•Council has directed staff to initiate a work program with public process regarding the strategy•Amendment stating eminent domain will not be used has been adopted•Staff has been working on concept based on public input that preserve the intent of the strategy, but alleviates concerns•Held two open houses to receive feedbackAGENDA ITEM #2. a)
