Corrective Action: IBC Section 111 .1 Use and Occupancy. No building or structure shall be used or occupied, and no change in the existing occupancy classification of a building or structure or portion thereof shall be made, until the building official has issued a certificate of occupancy therefor as provided herein. Issuance of a certificate of occupancy shall not be construed as an approval of a violation of the provisions of this code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction City of Renton Records indicate that the structure located on this property is designated as an S-2 Classiflcation storage building.The City has no record of any change of occupancy on the structure, and as such, the use of the S-2 Classification storage building as an M Classification retail sales is in violation of city ordinances and the International Building Code.A building Permit must be obtained for this change of Occupancy.
