CALL FOR BIDS
Rainier Ave North Culvert Improvement Project 2019

Sealed bids will be received until 2:30 p.m. Monday,August 12,2019,at the City Clerk's office,7th floor
and will be opened and publicly read in Conference Room#511 on the 5th floor, Renton City Hall, 1055
South Grady Way, Renton WA 98057,for the Rainier Ave North Culvert Improvement Project 2019.
The work to be performed within 45 working days from the date of commencement under this
contract shall include, but not be limited to: install approximately 61 linear feet of 36 inch cured-in
place pipe (CIPP). Other works include the installation of temporary stormwater flow bypass system,
approximately 350 gallon of grout (Invert Repair),temporary traffic control, CCTV inspection, and site
restoration as necessary.
The estimated project cost is$115,000 to $155,000.
The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any and/or all informalities.
Bid documents will be available July 26, 2019. Plans, specifications, addenda, and the plan holders
list for this project are available on-line through Builders Exchange of Washington, Inc., at
http://www.bxwa.com. Click on "bxwa.com"; "Posted Projects", "Public Works", "City of Renton",
"Project's Bidding". (Note: Bidders are encouraged to "Register as a Bidder," in order to receive
automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the "Bidders List."). Should you
required further assistance, contact Builder Exchange of Washington at (425) 258-1303. Bidders are
not to contact the City of Renton or the Engineer to obtain bidding documents.

A certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total of each bid must
accompany each bid.
