Follow up from the 3/18/2019 Finance Committee:
1. All Around Fence Company, $5,146.91 – Parking Garage Fence
a. Question: why was a fence installed at the parking garage?
b. Answer: there has been a persistent issue with homeless living under the stairwells in the southeast and
southwest corners of the building. They have been engaging in activities that kept it impossible for staff
to keep the elevator lobby clean and presentable to the general public, which led to many
complaints. The fencing closes off access to the stairwells to keep the homeless out.
