SUBJECT: "On Hold" Notice
Renton 14 Window Modification / LUA19-000159 MOD
Dear Ms. Wells-Driscoll:
The Planning Division of the City of Renton accepted the above master application for review on July 15,
2019. During our review, staff has determined that additional information is necessary in order to proceed
further.
The following will need to be corrected and submitted before November 14, 2019 so that we may continue
the review of the above subject application:
1. The submitted plans did not correctly calculate the area requirement for the 25% windows and/or
doors on the front façade. Please provide an exhibit providing the correct windows and doors
percentages.
2. There appear to be additional areas on the façade where windows and/or doors could be added
(i.e. the front door could be converted to a double door, existing windows could be increased in
sized and/or new windows could be added). Once all possible opportunities for windows and/or
doors have been exhausted, they City may consider granting a small modification to the 25%
windows and doors requirements.
Once the applicant has reviewed the above comments and amended necessary plan sets and studies to
bring the project closer to compliance with Renton Municipal Code, the applicant shall submit electronic
copies of the any modified plan sheets and studies in compliance with the City’s electronic plan review
standards.
