SHALL INSTALL CEMENT CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER IN KIND
REESTABLISH GUTTER ELEVATIONS WITH CONSTANT SLOPE WITHIN
LIMITS OF REPLACEMENT.
GENERAL RESTORATION NOTES
1. CONTRACTOR SHALL RESTORE ALL CHANNELIZATION MARKINGS
DISTURBED DURING CONSTRUCTION, INCLUDING STOP BARS,
CROSSWALKS, LANE MARKER BUTTONS AND PAINT STRIPES,
HYDRANT MARKERS, CHANNELIZATION ARROWS, AND ANY OTHER
EXISTING CHANNELIZATION MARKERS LOCATED WITHIN THE LIMITS
OF THE PROJECT. PAINT STRIPES SHALL BE REPLACED WITH
BUTTONS WITH REFLECTORS. STOP BARS SHALL BE REPLACED
WITH THERMOPLASTIC MATERIALS. SEE SHEET 21 FOR EXISTING
CHANNELIZATION PLAN. COORDINATE WITH CITY INSPECTOR.
2. SEE SPECIFICATIONS FOR PERMITTED WORK HOURS AND
REQUIREMENTS BETWEEN LIND AVENUE S.W. AND RAINIER AVENUE S
3. A SLIDE RAIL TRENCH SHORING SYSTEM FOR TRENCH WORK AS
DESCRIBED IN THE SPECIFICATIONS WAS USED TO DETERMINE
RESTORATION LIMITS AND QUANTITIES. SEE SPECIFICATIONS FOR
DESCRIPTION OF SHORING OPTIONS.
4. SEE BUTT JOINT DETAIL ON SHEET 26 FOR SAWCUT LINE
REQUIREMENTS
5. WHERE EXISTING CURB, GUTTER, AND SIDEWALK ARE REMOVED OR
DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION, IT SHALL BE REPLACED IN
KIND. IF EXISTING GUTTER PANEL WIDTH IS LESS THAN OR
GREATER THAN 12", COORDINATE REPLACEMENT WITH CITY.
