ALL WORK AND SERVICES SHALL BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PLANS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS, APPLICABLE LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL CODES, AND STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR ROAD, BRIDGE, AND MUNICIPAL CONSTRUCTION, 1994 EDITION (WSDOT AND APWA) AND CITY OF RENTON STDS. 2. CONTRACTOR SHALL ACQUIRE AND PAY FOR ALL SPECIALTY PERMITS SUCH AS ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING, TRANSPORTATION, BURNING, N.P.D.E.S. THE PURPOSE OF THESE TESTS SHALL BE TO CHECK THAT ALL EQUIPMENT WILL FUNCTION UNDER OPERATING CONDITONS, THAT ALL INTERLOCKING CONTROLS AND SEQUENCES ARE PROPERLY SET AND THAT THE FACILITY WILL FUNCTION AS AN OPERATING UNIT. FACTORY REPRESENTATIVES OF ALL MAJOR UNITS WILL BE PRESENT FOR THE TESTING AND START -UP. THE TEST SHALL CONTNUE UNTIL IT IS DEMONSTRATED THAT ALL TYPICAL -SEE NOTES DYSFUNCTION OF CONTROLS AND MACHINERY ARE CORRECTED. 6. THE PUMP STATON WET WELL IS CLASSIFIED AS AN EXPLOSIVE ENVIRONMENT. ALL MECHANICAL /ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND CONSTRUCTON IN THE WET WELL SHALL MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE FOR CLASS 1, DIVISION 1, GROUP D AREAS. 7. CONCRETE IN BOTTOM FILLETS AND TOP SLAB TO BE 6 SACK (3000 P.S.I. MIN.) MIX CONCRETE. INTERIOR TO BE STEEL TROWEL FINISH AND SHAPED ON CONSTANT GRADE TOWARD SUMP AS SHOWN. ELEV. 309.50 B.
