SURVEY CONTROL MOUNMENTS REPRESENT THE CENTERLINE ALIGNMENT OF OAKESDALE AVENUE AS ORIGINALLY SURVEYED. THE COORDINATES SHOWN ARE BASED ON THE COORDINATE SYSTEM USED FOR THE SOUTH INTERCEPTOR PARALLEL PHASE -1 AND WAS DEVELOPED BY SURVEY MEASURMENTS USING THE TWO POSITIONS FOUND IN THE FIELD AND SHOWN ON THE PLAN SHEET 0101 OF THAT PROJECT AS LISTED HEREON: TRAVERSE POINT N 69,422.31 E 54,047.65 STATION 55+50.00 (END SURVEY CONTROL LINE) N 67,988.64 E 54,026.14 VERTICAL CONTROL IS BASED ON THE BENCHMARK USED ON THE SOUTH INTECEPTOR PARALLEL PHASE -1 PROJECT BEING THE TOP OF THE MONUMENT CASING LID ON THE CASED MONUMENT ON THE CENTERLINE OF OAKESDALE AVENUE AT THE CENTER OF THE CUL DE SAC LOCATED 402 FEET NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF S.W. 31ST STREET AND OAKESDALE AVENUE- COORDINATES- N 68,257.42 E 54,085.88 2. VERTICAL ELEVATIONS ARE BASED ON METRO DATUM WHICH IS NVGD (USC & GS GEODETIC MEAN SEA LEVEL) PLUS 100 FEET- 3 1 EXISTING UTILITIES AND OTHER SUBSURFACE INFORMATION SHOWN ON THE PLANS IS NOT GUARANTEED TO BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL LOCATE ANY SUBSURFACE OBJECTS THAT MAY AFFECT OR CONFLICT WITH THE WORK OF THIS CONTRACT. 4. WETLAND BOUNDARIES SHOWN ON THE PLANS WERE DEVELOPED USING THE 1987 AND 1989 FEDERAL MANUALS FOR IDENTIFYING AND DELINEATING JURISDICTIONAL WETLANDS. 5. A COPY OF ALL DESIGN STANDARDS SPECIFIED FOR USE ON -SITE SHALL BE AVAILABLE IN THE CONTRACTOR'S OFFICE AT ALL TIMES. 6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND MAINTAIN TEMPORARY SEDIMENTATION COLLECTION AND EROSION CONTROL FACILITIES AND POLICIES, TO ENSURE THAT EROSION OF THE SITE DOES NOT OCCUR AND THAT SEDIMENT -LADEN WATER DOES NOT LEAVE THE SITE. FACILITIES AND POLICIES SHALL BE ADJUSTED AS SEASONAL CHANGES OCCUR AND AS SITE CONDITIONS CHANGE. 7. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE CONTINUAL., RATHER THAN PERIODIC, MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF THE WORK AREAS. THE ROADS AND FACILITIES USED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND THE SUBCONTRACTORS. AND THOSE PORTIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR'S YARD AND THE LAY -DOWN AREA USED BY THE CONTRACTOR AND THE SUBCONTRACTORS_ 8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PREVENT CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS FROM ENTERING NEARBY WATERWAYS AND WETLAND AREAS. 9. CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT SHALL BE CONTINUOUSLY MAINTAINED IN TOP WORKING ORDER AND FREE FROM LEAKING FLUIDS. EQUIPMENT WHICH, IN THE SOLE OPINION OF THE ENGINEER, IS IN POOR OPERATING CONDITION, SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE ENGINEER. 10. CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT SHALL BE SERVICED AND MAINTAINED ONLY WITHIN AREAS APPROVED FOR THAT PURPOSE. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT TO THE ENGINEER A REQUEST SHOWING THE AREA AND THE PROVISIONS TO BE MADE FOR BERMING, COLLECTING WASTE OIL, AND PREVENTING RUNOFF OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS INTO THE SURROUNDING AREAS. 11. PIPES ENCOUNTERED DURING EXCAVATION SHALL BE TRACED OUT AND REMOVED OR SUPPORTED AS REQUIRED DURING CONSTRUCTION_ 12. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT A DETAILED PLAN FOR CONTROLLING DUST ON THE SITE, TO BE APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. 13. POWER POLES AND TELEPHONE POLES WITHIN THE EASEMENT WHICH CONFLICT WITH PIPE OR STRUCTURE INSTALLATION SHALL BE REMOVED BY THE CONTRACTOR. OVERHEAD POWER AND TELEPHONE LINES WILL BE RELOCATED BY THE CONTRACTOR IN AREAS SHOWN ON THE PLANS. CONTRACTOR WILL COORDINATE WORK WITH THE AFFECTED UTILITIES. ALL WORK PERFORMED BY THE UTILITIES SHALL BE AT THE CONTRACTORS EXPENSE. HIGH VOLTAGE POWER WILL REMAIN IN PLACE NEAR THE PIPELINE - CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE MEASURES.TO PROTECT WORKERS AND POWER LINES. 14 BEFORE ANY CONSTRUCTION OR DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITY OCCURS, A PRE- 17. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING ADEQUATE SAFEGUARD. SAFETY DEVICES,_ PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT.- FLAGGERS. AND ANY OTHER NEEDED ACTIONS TO PROTECT THE LIFE. HEALTH. AND SAFETY, OF THE PUBLIC. AND TO PROTECT PROPERTY IN CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OF WORK COVERED BY THE CONTRACT -`ANY WORK WITHIN THE TRAVELED RIGHT - -OF-WAY THAT MAY INTERRUPT. NORMAL TRAFFIC FLOW SHALL REQUIRE AN APPROVED TRAFFIC CONTROL P LAN BY THE TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS. CITY OF RENTON 18. ALL 108 AND 84 INCH DIAMETER PIPE SHALL BE M -LOAD DESIGNED REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE ALL 54 -INCH. DIAMETER PIPE SHALL BE D -LOAD DESIGNED "REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE. THE WALL THICKNESS AND REINFORCEMENT SHALL BE DESIGNED BY THE PIPE SUPPLIER USING THE LOADS LISTED ON DRAWINGS 5161 AND 5102 S 4 CONSTRUCTION MEETING MUST BE HELD WITH THE CITY OF RENTON DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND THE ENGINEER. 15. A COPY OF THESE APPROVED PLANS MUST BE ON THE JOB SITE WHENEVER CONSTRUCTION IS IN PROGRESS, 16. ISSUANCE OF THE BUILDING OR CONSTRUCTION PERMIT BY THE CITY OF RENTON DOES NOT RELIEVE THE OWNER OF THE CONTINUING LEGAL OBLIGATION AND /OR LIABILITY CONNECTED WITH STORM SURFACE WATER 5-22126" ;.
