CITY OF RENTON STANDARD PLAN DETAILS ARE LOCATED WITHIN THE BOUND CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS. 2, VERTICAL AND HORIZONTAL CONTROL IS CITY OF RENTON AS INDICATED ON THE PLANS. 1 UTILITY LOCATIONS SHOWN ARE APPROXIMATE AND ACTUAL LOCATIONS MAY VARY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CALL THE "ONE CALL" CENTER AT 1- 800 - 424 -5555 FOR UTILITY MARKING 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF ANY EXCAVATION. 4. UTILITY CROSSING LOCATIONS AND ELEVATIONS SHALL BE VERIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR IN ADVANCE OF CONSTRUCTION. 5. FILTER FABRIC FENCE MUST BE CONSTRUCTED PER THE CITY OF RENTON STANDARD PLAN B066. 6. INSTALL ORANGE BARRIER FENCE AROUND ALL TREES TO BE SAVED OR PROTECTED WITHIN AND ADJACENT TO THE WORK AREA. REMOVE ALL BARRIER FENCING UPON COMPLETION. 7. THE HOURS OF WORK SHALL BE LIMITED TO 8:00 AM TO 5:00 PM ON WEEKDAYS UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ALL STREET CLOSURES, PARTIAL OR FULL, SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE DEPT. OF PUBLIC WORKS 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, FIRE DEPT, AND 911 SHALL BE NOTIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. 8. IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO OBTAIN STREET USE AND ANY OTHER RELATED PERMITS PRIOR TO ANY CONSTRUCTION. 9. A COPY OF APPROVED PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS MUST BE ON THE JOB SITE WHENEVER CONSTRUCTION IS IN PROGRESS. 10. ASSIGNMENT OF CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBLIGATION FOR LOCATING, PROTECTING AND REPAIRING DAMAGE TO EXISTING UNDERGROUND UTILITIES IS SHOWN IN THE SPECIAL PROVISIONS PORTION OF THE CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS. 11. ALL WORK IS SHOWN SCHEMATICALLY (I.E. ENOUGH DETAIL ON DRAWINGS TO SHOW INTENT). ALL ITEMS WILL BE FIELD FIT BY THE CONTRACTOR TO MATCH INTO EXISTING CONDITIONS. 12. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PLACE ANY WASTE MATERIALS INCLUDING LOGS OR ROOTWADS AS DIRECTED BY THE ENGINEER. 13. ALL FINISH GRADE ELEVATIONS SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. 14. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SMOOTH ROAD TRANSITIONS TO AND FROM ALL AREAS DESIGNATED TO BE RECONSTRUCTED OR RAISED. 15. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE A VACUUM STREET SWEEPER TO REMOVE DUST AND DEBRIS FROM PAVEMENT AREAS. FLUSHING OF STREETS SHALL NOT BE PERMITTED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE CITY. 16. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE A ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY ON ALL WORK EXCEPT FOR NEW PLANTINGS WHICH REQUIRE A TWO (2) YEAR WARRANTY. CONTRACTOR TO COME BACK AFTER ONE YEAR AND REPLACE ALL ORIGINAL PLANTINGS THAT DID NOT TAKE. 17. "THUNDER HILLS" STREAM IS ALSO KNOWN AS "ROLLING HILLS" STREAM. "A",* - s%° ?71" GENERAL WORK APPROACH TEMPORARY EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROL (TESL) 1. TEMPORARY EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION FACILITIES WILL BE CONTRUCTED AND IMPLEMENTED PRIOR TO ANY EXCAVATION. THESE FACILITIES MUST BE SATISFACTORILY MAINTAINED UNTIL THE CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETED AND THE POTENTIAL FOR ON -SITE EROSION HAS PASSED. 2. TEMPORARY SEDIMENTATION COLLECTION FACILITIES MUST BE PROVIDED AND MAINTAINED TO ENSURE THAT SEDIMENTATION OR OTHER HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DO NOT ENTER THE WATERS OF THE ADJACENT STREAM. AS CONSTRUCTION PROGRESSES AND UNEXPECTED SEASONAL CONDITIONALS DICTATE, MORE EROSION CONTROL FACILITIES MAY BE REQUIRED TO ENSURE COMPLETE SILTATION CONTROL ON THE PROJECT. DURING THE COURSE OF CONSTRUCTION, IT SHALL BE THE OBLIGATION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO ADDRESS ANY NEW CONDITIONS THAT MAY BE CREATED BY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FACILITIES, OVER AND ABOVE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, AS MAY BE NEEDED TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE. ROAD REPAIR AND RESTORATION AREAS 1. INSTALL EROSION /SEDIMENTATION CONTROLS 2. CLEAR AND GRUB AREAS REQUIRING EXCAVATION. STOCKPILE ANY MATERIALS DESIGNATED BY THE ENGINEER TO BE USED IN STREAM STABILIZATION WORK. 3. CONSTRUCT ROAD REPAIRS. 4. FINISH GRADE AND CLEANUP ALL CONSTRUCTED AREAS. 5. INSTALL PLANTINGS AND HYDROSEED ALL DISTURBED AREAS. 6. REMOVE SEDMENTATION CONTROLS. STREAM RESTORATION AREAS 1. INSTALL AND MAINTAIN STREAM DIVERSION AROUND THE WORK AREA BY USING SANDBAG DIKES WITH PUMPING, CULVERTS OR OTHER ACCEPTABLE MEANS APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. PUMPS AND DIVERSION PIPING TO BE SIZED TO HANDLE NORMAL ANTICIPATED FLOWS. 2. CONSTRUCT STREAM ENHANCEMENTS AND NEW FACILITIES, MAINTAINING THE SEPARATION OF THE WORK FROM THE STREAM FLOW. 3. REMOVE THE STREAM DIVERSIONS, AS APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. 4. PLANT MATERIAL FOR LIVESTAKING WILL BE COLLECTED FROM THOSE AREAS APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. 5.
