DIRECT ANY CONTAMINATED CONSTRUCTION WATER/SEEPAGE (E.G., AFTER SAND BLASTING OPERATIONS OR CONCRErE WORK) DISCHARGING FROM CULVERT TO SUMP AND PUMP TO HOLDING TANK FOR HAUL TO DISPOSAL SITE UPON REMOVAL OF EXISTING DAMAGED CULVERT SECTION, RELOCATE LINED SUMP TO CAPTURE CULVERT SEEPAGE AT NEW OUTUET LOCATION. THE ESC FACILITIES SHOWN ON THIS PLAN MUST BE CONSTRUCTED PRIOR TO OR IN CONJUNCTION WITH ALL CLEARING AND GRADING SO AS TO ENSURE THAT THE TRANSPORT OF SEDIMENT TO SURFACE WATERS, DRAINAGE SYSTEMS, AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES IS MINIMIZED- 4. THE ESC FACILITIES SHOWN ON THIS PLAN ARE THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR ANTICIPATED SITE CONDITIONS. DAMAGED OR IMPROPERLY FUNCTIONING EIMPS SHALL BE REPLACED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE CITY. 6. ANY AREAS OF D(POSED SOILS THAT WILL NOT BE DISTURBED FOR TWO DAYS SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY STABILIZED WITH THE APPROVED ESC METHODS (E.G., SEED'NG, MULCHNG, PLASTIC COVERING, ETC.). 7. AT NO TIME SHALL MORE THAN ONE (1) FOOT OF SEDIMENT BE ALLOWED TO ACCUMULATE WITHN A CATCH BASIN. THE CLEANING OPERATION SHALL NOT FLUSH SEDIMENT-LAOEN WATER INTO THE DOWNSTREAM SYSTEM. B. WHERE STRAW MULCH FOR TEMPORARY EROSION CONTROL 15 REQUIRED, IT SHALL BE APPLIED AT A MINIMUM THICKNESS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES. 9. USE REINFORCED PLASTIC FABRIC TO COVER STOCKPILED ITEMS WHEN NOT IN USE. THE REINFORCED PLASTIC FABRIC SHALL BE HELD DOWN BY A MINIMUM OF 10LB SANDBAGS PLACED EVERY 1D FEEr ALONG THE EDGE AND ACROSS THE PILE. 10. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF ECOLOGY REQUIREMENTS, WASTEWATER FROM CEMENT CONCRETE, MASONRY, ASPHALT CONCRETE CUTTING OR POURING OPERATIONS, PETROLEUM PRODUCTS, HYDRAULIC FLUID, SEOIMENT-LADEN WATER, CHEMICALS, OR ANY OTHER TOXIC OR DELETERIOUS MATERIAL SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER OR SEP INTO STORM DRAANAGE SYSTEMS OR SURFACE WATERS. ANY WASTAGE OR WATER COMING IN CONTACT WITH FRESH CONCRETE SHALL BE COLLECTED IN AN IMPERVIOUS SUMP FOR COMPLIETE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL TO PREVENT CONTAMINANTS FROM ENTERING GROUND OR SURFACE WATERS. 11. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPROVED LOCAL STATE AND FEDERAI - REQUIREMENTS FOR PROTECTION OF WATER QUALITY. SEE PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS FOR COPIES OF PROJECT PERMITS. A COPY OF THE APPROVED HYDRAULIC PROJECT APPROVAL (HPA) SHALL BE KEPT IN A VISIBLE LOCATION. ALL WORK BELOW THE ORDINARY HIGH WATER LINE (OHWL) SHALL BE BEWEN JUNE 15, 2008 AND OCTOBER 15, 2008. 12. CONTRACTOR SHALL CAPTURE AND SAFELY REMOVE AND RELOCATE FISH WITHIN THE TEMPORARY DIVERSION AREA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HPA REQUIREMENTS. PRIOR TO INSTALLING TEMPORARY BYPASS, CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN A WASHINGTON DEPARTMENT OF FISH AND WILDLIFE (WDFW) SCIENTIFIC COLLECTING PERMIT PER SPEC SECTION 1-07.6 AND INSTALL FISH BLOCK NETS AND HAND NET FISH FROM WORK AREA PER PERMIT REQUIREMENTS. CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE A QUALIAEO BIOLOGIST CAPTURE AND SAFELY MOVE FOOD FISH, GAME FISH, AND OTHER FISH LIFE FROM THE JOB SITE. CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE FISH CAPTURE AND TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT READY AND ON THE JOB SITE. CAPTURED FISH SHALL BE IMMEDIATELY AND SAFELY TRANSFERRED TO FREE-FLOWING WATER DOWNSTREAM OF THE PROJECT SITE.
