The contractor shall contact all pertinent utility agencies 48 hours before commencing work, and shall coordinate the work with the utilities throughout the project. 6. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to existing utilities. The contractor shall notify the affected utility company and the City immediately upon damage. 7. The contractor shall notify the City of Renton Traffic Engineering Division (235 -2620) for inspection purposes, 24 hours before commencing work. No work shall be covered until it has been examined by the engineer. B.
