HomeMy WebLinkAboutT-2208130 CONSTRUCTION NOTES: 1. INSTALL NEW SIGNAL POLE FOUNDATION AND TYPE II SIGNAL POLE WITH A 40 FOOT MAST ARM. INSTALL TWO NEW VEHICLE SIGNAL HEADS (TYPE M MOUNT), ONE NEW STREET NAME SIGN, ONE FIBER OPTIC PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD WITH TYPE E MOUNTING, ONE PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTON WITH SIGN, AND A TERMINAL BOX. 2. INSTALL NEW SIGNAL POLE FOUNDATION AND TYPE III SIGNAL POLE WITH ONE NEW STREET NAME SIGN, A 40 FOOT MAST ARM. INSTALL THREE NEW VEHICLE SIGNAL HEADS (TYPE M MOUNT), AND A NEW "LEFT TURN YIELD ON GREEN" SIGN ON THE NEW MAST ARM. INSTALL ONE FIBER OPTIC PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD WITH TYPE E MOUNTING, ONE PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTON WITH SIGN, AND A TERMINAL BOX ON THE NEW SIGNAL POLE. INSTALL TYPE III CUTOFF OPTICS. 400 WATT HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM LUMINAIRE WITH A 35 FEET MOUNTING HEIGHT ON 10 FOOT DAVIT ARM. 3. INSTALL NEW SIGNAL POLE FOUNDATION, AND TYPE II SIGNAL POLE WITH ONE NEW STREET NAME SIGN, A 20 FOOT MAST ARM. INSTALL TWO NEW VEHICLE SIGNAL HEADS (TYPE M MOUNT), AND ONE NEW EMERGENCY VEHICLE PRE- EMPTION DETECTOR ON THE NEW MAST ARM. INSTALL ONE FIBER OPTIC PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD WITH TYPE E MOUNTING, ONE PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTON WITH SIGN, AND A TERMINAL BOX ON THE NEW SIGNAL POLE. 4. INSTALL NEW TYPE III SIGNAL POLE WITH A 35 FOOT MAST ARM. INSTALL THREE NEW VEHICLE SIGNAL HEADS (TYPE M MOUNT) AND A "LEFT TURN YIELD ON GREEN" SIGN ON THE NEW MAST ARM. REINSTALL EXISTING EMERGENCY VEHICLE PRE - EMPTION DETECTORS AND EXISTING STREET NAME SIGN ON THE NEW MAST ARM. INSTALL ONE FIBER OPTIC PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD WITH TYPE E MOUNTING, PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTON WITH SIGN, AND A TERMINAL BOX ON THE NEW SIGNAL POLE. INSTALL TYPE III CUTOFF OPTIC, 400 WATT HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM LUMINAIRE 35 FEET MOUNTING HEIGHT ON 10 FOOT DAVIT ARM. 5. REMOVE AND SALVAGE EXISTING SIGNAL HEAD AND PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD ON THE EXISTING PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL POLE. INSTALL ONE FIBER OPTIC PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD WITH TYPE E MOUNTING AND PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTON WITH SIGN ON THE EXISTING PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL POLE. 6. INSTALL NEW PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL POLE FOUNDATION AND NEW POLE. INSTALL ONE FIBER OPTIC PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEAD WITH TYPE E MOUNTING AND ONE PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTON WITH SIGN ON THE NEW PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL POLE. 7. INSTALL NEW TYPE 111 ELECTRICAL SERVICE AND CABINET ON NEW PAD FOUNDATION. B. REMOVE EXISTING LUMINAIRE AND POLE AND DELIVER TO THE CITY OF RENTON SHOP. 9. RELOCATE EXISTING SIGNAL CONTROLLER CABINET AND SIGNAL EOUIPMENT FROM SOUTHWEST OUADRANT TO A NEW PAD FOUNDATION ON THE SOUTHEAST QUADRANT. 10. EXISTING INTERCONNECT CONDUIT TO REMAIN. Ii. ADJUST EXISTING JUNCTION BOX TO GRADE. 12. PUGET POWER SHALL PROVIDE POWER AND CONNECT POWER SOURCE TO SERVICE CABINET. 13. EXISTING JUNCTION BOX TO REMAIN. 14. RESTORE CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK TO MATCH EXISTING. GENERAL NOTES: I. ALL VEHICLE SIGNAL HEADS SHALL BE CONVENTIONAL HEADS WITH TUNNEL VISORS AND SOUARE DOORS. 2. ALL PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEADS SHALL BE FIBER OPTIC HEADS WITH TYPE E MOUNTING HARDWARE. PEDESTRIAN PUSH BUTTONS AND SIGNS SHALL CONFORM TO CITY OF RENTON STANDARD PLAN J024 AND J025. 3. ALL VEHICLE SIGNAL HEADS SHALL BE TYPE M MOUNTED, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 4. ALL DETECTOR LOOPS SHALL BE 6 -FOOT BY 6 -FOOT. LOOPS ARE TO BE CENTERED IN THEIR RESPECTIVE LANES AND LOCATED AS SHOWN BY TYPICAL DIMENSIONS. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 5. ALL SIGNAL POLES SHALL HAVE MOUNTED TERMINAL BOX. 6. JUNCTION BOX AND CONDUIT LOCATIONS SHALL BE FIELD ADJUSTED IN ORDER TO PLACE PARALLEL CONDUITS IN ONE TRENCH. T. REMOVE AND SALVAGE ALL THE EXISTING HARDWARE; INCLUDING SIGNAL POLE, MAST ARM, SIGNAL HEADS, PEDESTRIAN SIGNAL HEADS, AND POLE MOUNTED TERMINAL BOX, SHALL BE DELIVERY TO CITY OF RENTON SH, "S. 8. EXISITNG POLE AND CABINET FOUNDATIONS SHALL BE REMOVED, SEE SPECIFICATIONS. 9. THE LOCATION OF CONDUIT AND JUNCTION BOXES SHOWN ON THESE PLANS ARE FOR GRAPHIC REPRESENTATION ONLY. JUNCTION BOXES SHALL BE SET OUTSIDE WHEEL CHAIR RAMP AREAS. JUNCTION BOX LOCATIONS SHALL BE SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE ENGINEER. 10.
