A pre - construction meeting will be held between Puget $pond Energy and the contractori installing the vault and conduit system. This Puget ,Sound Energy inspector and Project Manager along with the contractors supervisor and crew I foreman. This meeting shall precede any construction off ort described in this document. MATERIAL AND DELIVERY: 2. Puget Sound Energy is to provide vault and cover delivery and off load to job site or staging area per City Contractors desires. City's contractor supervisor is to sign the delivery invoice verifying the material delivered before Puger Sauna Energy wit/ off load material to des 'j gnoted site. 6. Provide vault excavation for one 36" x. 42" x 38" minipaQ handho /es (se /f grounding) Instal/ ground plates a minimum of 5 feet deep. Extendi.a'2 capper ground wires into j vaults. Locate these transformer vaults behind sldswal, on city's right-of-way or on private that set and level vault so the top /id is 2 " labove finished grade. Switch vaults: 501, 502 18. H06 & H08 19. City contractor is to install three 32" x 44" x 36" honghole with H2O steel door. HO1, H07 & H09 are existing and energized. They require additional conduit plumbed per detoi /s• Puget Sound Energy shall assist with the conduit installation into energized handholes, H02 will be removed and the customer will be required to wire out new service conductor to transformer TO2. CONDUIT AND POLE RISERS: { 20. Into /led conduit runs are to be cleaned and tested with a mandrel pulled freely from end to end. This testing is to be comp leted after Dackfill material is compacted to City of Renton's project requirements. A contra /led density slurry mdterlia /'may be used to obtain the needed protect Ion around the conduits to ensure that compacfiori of. bockfi// material will noticrush the conduits. 21. Conduit run must be tested before Puget Sound Energy wi4/ accept the installation. Conduit runs not passing mandrel testing Will be re- excavated and repaired at city's contractors expense. 'I I 22. City's contractor to camplete conduit runs section by section and not engage in multiple conduit section installation without completing the previous section. This enables Pu et Sound Energy, without delay, to install conductors and connectors to maintain project scheduling. 1 23. Conduit spacers will be used every 5 feet and pulling - fishline Installed in each conduit run. i 24. Pole riser conduit bends, transformer conduit bends, and trench conduit bends have different radius and the City's contractor, Will reference the sit notes, details and into /lotlpn instruction for the proper radius: bends. 25. Use ��90 degree bends only when specifically co /led for. :i Use 22.5 degree bends when needed . and approved by Puget Sound Energy inspector. 26. All transformer handhole conduits will ;sweep from the main trench to the transformer hondhhole. The only bends at the transformer will be th¢I bends directly in the nondholg. The coordination of any construction or any construction issues ifrp/ied by the above notes shall be inspected by the Puget Sound Energy inspector. Any changes of facilities covered in this document will be approved prior to construction. by the Puget Sound Energy ,inspector. 11. Puget SounO Energy inspector has the authority to stop construction of Puget Sound Energys foci /'ties if,ony OSHA. WlSHA or City of Renton. safety rules are violated. The Puget Sound Energy inspector also the authority to act upon any observed safety infractions or unsafe working conditions throughout: the entire project. The Puget Sound Energy inspector has the authority to report. safety Infractions or unsafe working conditions to the General Contractor.
