THE DIMENSIONS SHOWN ON THE PLANS ARE BASED ON ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION RECORDS PROVIDED BY THE CITYOFRENTON PLANNING /BUILDING /PUBLIC WORKS DEPAR7MANT. DIMENSIONS AND CONDITIONS OF EXISTING ELEMENTS SHALL BE FIELD VERIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR. 5. ALL S7EEL PLATES AND SHAPES FURNISHED FOR THIS PROJECT SHALL BE STRUCTURAL CARBON STEEL AND SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OFAASHTO M 18.3, STRUCTURAL STEEL. 6. ALL WELDMENTS SHALL BE MADE USING E70XX LOW HYDROGEN ELECTRODES. 7 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PAINT ALL NEW STEEL CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL CLEAN AND REPAINT ALL EXISTING METAL SURFACES EXPOSED AS A RESULT OF THE CONTRACTORS WORK. ALL COSTS IN CONNECTION WITH FURNISHING AND APPLYING PAINT SHALL BE INCIDENTAL TO THE CONSTRUCTION AT EACH BRIDGE OF THIS PROJECT. THE PAINT SYSTEM FOR SHOP AND FIELD PAINTING SHALL CONSIST OF ONE PRIME COAT AND ONE FINISH COAT USING THE FOLLOWING STANDARD FOMULAS.• PRIMER — ZINC DUST ZINC OXIDE PRIMER FORMULA A -6 -86 FINISH — PHENOLIC FINISH COAT FOR STEEL FORMULA C -9 -90 THE FINISH COAT SHALL INCLUDE A COMBINATION OF TITANIUM DIOXIDE AND COLORED PIGMENTS OR A COMBINATION OF COLORED PIGMENTS SUCH THAT THE RESULTANT PAINT WHEN DRY MATCHES THE COLOR OF THE EXISTING FINISH COAT ON ADJACENT SURFACES. 8. ADHESIVE ANCHOR RODS SHALL BE HIL77 HVA ADHESIVE ANCHOR SYSTEM — HAS ROD, WI TH HAS STANDARD NUT AND WASHER, OR USE DIAMOND , INC. SUP -R -SET RESIN CAPSULE ANCHOR SYSTEM USING A307 THREADED ROD WITH HEX NUT AND WASHER ZINC PLATED TO ASTM B633 SCI, OR APPROVED EQUAL. DEPTH OF CONCRETE EMBEDMENT AND HOLE DIAMETER SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS. THE DESIGN ULTIMATE SHEAR FORCE IS EQUAL TO 19 KIPS PER ANCHOR ROD.
