RESTORATION NOTES
1. ALL TRENCH AND SURFACE RESTORATION SHALL BE ACCORDING TO THE
CITY OF RENTON STANDARDS.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DISPOSAL OF ALL
EXCAVATED PAVEMENT AND OTHER UNSUITABLE MATERIALS.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
OF PAVEMENT DAMAGED OUTSIDE OF PAY LIMITS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
ALSO FURNISH ALL WORK AND MATERIALS NECESSARY TO RESTORE THE
PAVEMENT DAMAGED OUTSIDE OF THE PAY LIMITS AT NO ADDITIONAL
EXPENSE TO THE OWNER.
4. ALL TRENCHES WITHIN PAVED AREAS SHALL BE BACKFILLED AND PATCHED
WITH TEMPORARY ASPHALT AT THE END OF THE WORK DAY, UNLESS
PERMISSION IS GRANTED OTHERWISE BY THE CITY.
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN TRENCH PATCHES TO THE TIME OF
PAVING TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO EXISTING PAVEMENT RESULTING FROM
VEHICLE TRAFFIC.
6. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAN EXISTING PAVEMENT, PERFORM EXTRA
SAW CUTS NECESSARY TO CREATE CLEAN PAVEMENT CUTS, REMOVE
DAMAGED PAVEMENT, REGRADE, AND COMPACT ALL CRUSHED ROCK IN
PREPARATION FOR PAVING. PAVING SHALL BE PERFORMED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS AND AS DEFINED IN
THE NOTES BELOW.
7. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE STEEL PLATES IN AREAS REQUIRED TO BE OPEN
TO TRAFFIC AND PRIOR TO FINAL TRENCH RESTORATION AS DIRECTED BY
THE CITY INSPECTOR. PLATES SHALL BE TREATED FOR VEHICLE SKID
RESISTANCE
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REPLACE AND REPAINT STREET MARKINGS
DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION.
9. MATCH EXISTING SLOPES FOR PAVEMENT AND GRAVEL DRIVEWAY
RESTORATION. PAVEMENT SLOPES SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 2% FROM
CENTERLINE TO EDGE.
10. TACK ALL EDGES PRIOR TO PAVING.
11. IN LANDSCAPED OR CULTIVATED, NON— PAVED, NON— GRAVELED AREAS
