OF ALL EXISTING CAST -IRON AND ASBESTOS- CEMENT PIPES, AND PROVIDE THE PROPER LONG -BODY ADAPTERS AND TRANSITION COUPLINGS FOR THE FINAL CONNECTIONS BY CITY FORCES. CONNECTIONS TO ALL DUCTILE IRON PIPES SHALL BE MADE WITH LONG SOLID SLEEVE COUPLINGS (MJ). 8. ALL CONNECTIONS TO EXISTING WATER ONES SHALL BE MADE ONLY AFTER ALL THE NEW WATER ONES AND APPURTENANCES HAVE SUCCESSFULLY PASSED ALL PRESSURE TESTS, CLEANED WITH POLY PIGS, DISINFECTED WITH CHLORINE SOLUTION, AND HAVE RECEIVED SATISFACTORY BACTERIOLOGICAL TEST LAB REPORTS, AND ARE THOROUGHLY FLUSHED. 9. ELEVATIONS OF EXISTING CROSSING UTIUTIES ARE PARTIALLY BASED ON RECORD DRAWING INFORMATION. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY LOCATIONS OF ALL UNDERGROUND EQUIPMENT PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION AND INFORM THE ENGINEER IF CONFLICT IS FOUND. 10.
