AREAS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPACT THE EXISTING BUILDING SLAB BASE MATERIAL IN THE PRESENCE OF THE OWNER'S CTL IN ORDER FOR THE CTL TO OBSERVE
THE STABILITY OF THE SUBGRADE AND BUILDING SLAB BASE MATERIAL, THE CTL SHALL THEN DENSITY TEST THE BUILDING SLAB BASE MATERIAL TO CONFIRM THAT IT
MEETS THE COMPACTION SPECIFICATIONS IN SECTION 02300. NEW 'BUILDING SLAB BASE MATERIAL" SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES THICK AND SHALL CONFORM TO
THE PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS PRESENTED IN SPECIFICATION SECTION 02300. IF THE 'BUILDING SLAB BASE MATERIAL' BECOMES SEGREGATED DURING SPREADING, THE
