SCOPE OF WORK
THIS DOCUMENT PACKAGE INCLUDES THE ROADWAY WIDENING ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF NORTH 6TH
STREET BETWEEN SPINE ROAD AND LOGAN AVENUE. THIS WORK WILL INCLUDE ROADWAY PLANING AND
PAVEMENT REMOVAL; THE REMOVAL OF EXISTING CURB, GUTTER, SIDEWALKS, AND STREET TREES; AND THE
REMOVAL OF EXISTING LIGHT POLES FOR THE ADJACENT PARKING LOT. THIS PROJECT WILL ALSO INCLUDE
THE CONSTRUCTION OF CURB AND GUTTER, FIVE-FOOT LANDSCAPING BUFFER WITH STREET TREES ADJACENT
TO THE ROADWAY, STREET LIGHTS PLACED IN THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER, A SIX-FOOT SIDEWALK; PLACEMENT
OF NEW STORMWATER STRUCTURES AND PIPING; AND CHANNELIZATION REVISIONS ALONG NORTH 6TH STREET
AND LOGAN AVE NORTH. PARKING LOT REVISIONS WILL BE NECESSARY TO ACCOUNT FOR THE ROAD
WIDENING, WHICH WILL INCLUDE ADDING NEW LIGHT FIXTURES TO EXISTING LIGHT POLES, RECONSTRUCTING
AN EXISTING TRAFFIC ISLAND END CAP; AND RECONFIGURING THE PARKING STALL LAYOUT WITH NEW
STRIPING.
