ORDINANCE NO. 5667
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION
5-23-7 OF CHAPTER 23, EXAMINATIONS, RECORDS PRESERVATION, SUCCESSOR
LIABILITY, AND PUBLIC DISCLOSURE, OF TITLE V (FINANCE AND BUSINESS
REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON", BY CLARIFYING THE
INTENT OF THE LIMITATION ON ACTIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Subsection 5-23-7B of section 5-23-7, Limitation On Actions, of Chapter
23, Examinations, Records Preservation, Successor Liability, And Public Disclosure, of Title V
(Finance and Business Regulations) of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington", is hereby amended as follows:
B. Tho sSix (6) years is determined from when an audit commenced or whon
tho monies owed or unpaid, penalties or intorost bocamo duo, whichovor is lator
shall mean six (6) complete calendar years prior to the commencement of an
audit as signified by the written notice of audit.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and thirty
(30) days after publication.
