HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 5376CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO.5376 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM KING COUNTY ZONING TO RMH (RESIDENTIAL MANUFACTURED HOMES)(COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT,CPA#2007-M-03). WHEREAS,property owners petitioned the City of Renton for annexation and concurrent rezoning,which annexation having previously been approved and ordinance adopted which will annex the property to the City of Renton,and the City having held two public hearings to consider this zoning application,the first hearing being held on August 1,2007 and the second hearing being held on October 1,2007,and the zoning request being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive Plan,as amended,and the City Council having considered all matters relevant thereto,and all parties having been heard appearing in support or in opposition to the proposed zoning; NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I.The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby zoned to RMH.The annual ordinance adopting the maps of the City's zoning ordinance is hereby amended to show the rezoning and the CED Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance,as amended,to evidence the rezoning,to wit: 1 ORDINANCE NO.5376 See Exhibit "A"attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein. [Said properties,approximately 26.79 acres,including those portions of Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 22,and the Southwest quarter of Section 23,both in Township 23 North,Range 5 East,W.M.,in the City of Renton,King County,Washington.] SECTION II.This ordinance shall be effective upon its passage,approval,and thirty days after its publication.
