RESOLUTION NO. 3608
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO THE
REVISED AGREEMENT FOR THE EASTSIDE TRANSPORTATION
PARTNERSHIP (ETP), FOR RENTON'S CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN
THE PROGRAM THROUGH 2005.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton recognizes that the development and implementation of a
multijurisdictional transportation plan for the Eastside is of benefit to the citizens of the City of
Renton; and
WHEREAS, Renton is a member of the Eastside Transportation Partnership (ETP), a
continuing cooperative effort of agencies on the east side of Lake Washington to address
transportation problems; and
WHEREAS, the ETP members have worked cooperatively to implement the Mobility
Action Priorities (MAP), an updated program of Eastside transportation projects; and
WHEREAS, the City of Renton has successfully incorporated regionaUy and subregionaUy
significant transportation projects into the Eastside Transportation Partnership MAP; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and advisable to amend the prior agreement for the Eastside
Transportation Partnership;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above findings are true and correct in aU respects.
RESOLUTION NO. 3608
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into the
revised Agreement for the Eastside Transportation Partnership, for Renton's continued participation
in the ETP through 2005.
