RESOLUTION NO. 2655
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO PARTICIPATE
IN THE STATE INVESTMENT POOL
WHEREAS the 1986 Legislative Session passed a statute permitting
local governments to invest in a State operated Local Government
Investment Pool, and
WHEREAS such Pool may be in the best interest of the City
of Renton, and
WHEREAS any local government participating in the Pool
must adopt a resolution as provided for by State law before
participating in the Pool; and
WHEREAS the regulations for participating in the Pool are
found in WAC Section 210-01, NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I; The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects.
SECTION II: The City of Renton, through its Finance
Director, located at 200 Mill Avenue S., Renton, Washington, is
authorized to invest funds in the Local Government Investment Pool
subject to the provisions of Washington Administrative Code,
Section 210-01.
SECTION III: Those individuals authorized to deposit or
withdraw funds in the Local Government Investment Pool for the
City of Renton are as follows:
