HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 4373CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 4373 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM G-l (GENERAL ZONE) TO R-2 (RESIDENTIAL ZONE) AND O-P (OFFICE PARK DISTRICT) (BOOK/BALES REZONE; FILE NO. R-110-91). WHEREAS, under Chapter 31 (Zoning Code) of Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 42 60 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, " as amended, and the maps and reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as G-l (General Zone); and WHEREAS, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property has been filed with the Development Services Division on or about September 3, 1991, which petition was duly referred to the Hearing Examiner for investigation, study, and public hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereonron or about April 14, 19 92, and said matter having been duly considered by the Hearing Examiner, and said zoning request being in conformity with the city's comprehensive plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to R-2 (Residential Zone) and O-P (Office Park District), as hereinbelow specified, subject to the findings, conclusions, and decision of the Hearing Examiner dated April 30, 1 ORDINANCE NO. 4373 1992, and subject further to restrictive covenants filed under King County Auditor's File No. 921008-0791 f 921008-0792 921008-0793 921008-0794 , ^ and , and which said covenants are hereby incorporated and made a part hereof as if fully set forth, the Development Services Director is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit: See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein. (Said property - approximately 3.43 acres consisting of 11 lots zoned R-2 and 1 lot approximately 0.64 acres zoned 0- P for a total of approximately 4.07 acres - being located at 1726 Duvall Avenue N.E.) SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and five days after its publication.
